Louis won Soho Theatre's Tony Craze Award for his play SLIPPERY. His play I FUCKED YOU IN MY SPACESHIP received a sold-out premiere at VAULT Festival 2023, winning the Origins Award for Outstanding New Work. It subsequently transferred to Soho Theatre in June 2023. Louis was called "a rising-star playwright" by Time Out. The play is published by Nick Hern Books. In 2024, it received its North American premiere in New York.

Louis' adaptation of MANSFIELD PARK, from the novel by Austen, was developed and first performed at Jane Austen's House in 2024. It premiered in a full-production at Guilford School of Acting in 2025. His latest original play, SNAKES AND LADDERS, commissioned by the Oxford School of Drama, premiered at Southwark Playhouse in August 2024.

Louis was on attachment to Oxford Playhouse as part of the Playmaker's scheme 2023/24. His other work has been performed at Watford Palace Theatre, The Pleasance Theatre Islington, LAMDA, and supported by Farnham Maltings. He is represented by Maddie O'Dwyer at Berlin Associates.
